An interactive projection mapping that was shown while the electronic music festival “Spring Festival” in Graz 2023. The mapping consists of four different rooms with animated objects and sound. Pedestrians can interact with the mapping by spinning a fortune wheel built out of wood and randomly select one of the rooms to display. As soon as a new room has been selected, a transition effect reveals the room and plays its animation. When finished the room disappears by transitioning back to the main scene motivating people to turn the wheel.
The wheel was built with sensors that are connected over wireless network with a computer running a program called vvvv which was programmed to receive data via OSC and acts as a scene manager. The mapping was done with MadMapper on a second Computer with three projectors and the sound was streamed to a sound system via an external sound card.
