A programmed microcontroller connected to the Internet communicates with an RFID scanner via the "I2C protocol" and loads the ID number of an RFID chip into an online database after each scan. Each chip is only read once, thus avoiding duplicate entries. The database is updated in real time and can be accessed via a link.

Application

In a museum, all exhibits are equipped with scanners and microcontrollers. All visitors are given a wristband with an RFID chip with which they can save objects of their choice. This makes it possible to read all the information and other interesting details at any time via a link to the database.

- Avoidance of information overload and information materials on site
- Personal documentation for visitors
- Information for the museum to create target group-specific content
